Emmett Has Arrived!!

Emmett Erickson was born on January 12th, 2010. He was born at 26 weeks and weighed 1 lb, 15 ounces. Cassie developed severe preeclampsia and was forced to deliver him early by an emergency c-section. Although it was an incredibly scary time for both Cassie and Emmett, we have been blessed with many miracles, and both of them are doing well.

 Emmett is currently up to 4 pounds, 4 ounces. He is truly a little bundle of joy, and has such a strong, amazing spirit.  He is still in the NICU (Newborn ICU), and will stay there til sometime around his due date (April 15th).

Due to the circumstances, Cassie is not going to be able to hold a traditional shower. After some brainstorming we decided the best idea for them would be to create a "Virtual Shower".
